Information on the most widely used ASTM standards within the materials testing industry
Model: UT1075; ISO 10333-1, EN 361
Full-Body Harnesses (FBH) Safety Performance Comprehensive Testing System is suitable for comprehensive mechanical testing of Buckle uncoupling and slippage, Static strength of FBL, Falling dynamic performance of FBH, safety ropes, hanging devices, slings, etc. It can perform tests such as ultimate load tests, long-term load retention under constant load, low-cycle fatigue under given load, and rapid impact tests.
A full-body harness is safety apparel that connects a worker to a fall protection system anchored to the structure he or she’s working on. It uses straps around the thighs, hips, chest, shoulders, and back to stop falls while reducing the risk of injury. These harnesses also keep workers upright after a fall, helping reduce suspension trauma and making rescue easier and faster.

General introduction
Full-Body Harnesses (FBH) Safety Performance Comprehensive Testing System is suitable for comprehensive mechanical testing of Buckle uncoupling and slippage, Static strength of FBL, Falling dynamic performance of FBH, safety ropes, hanging devices, slings, etc. It can perform tests such as ultimate load tests, long-term load retention under constant load, low-cycle fatigue under given load, and rapid impact tests.

Key Features
1, Buckle shake test
Hold the webbing on either side of the buckle and shake it quickly by alternatively moving the webbing
towards the buckle then away from it for a total of 25 cycles. Observe the alignment marks. Misalignment of the marks indicates webbing slippage. Measure and record any slippage.
2, Static strength test for fall-arrest attachment elements; Static strength test for controlled-descent attachment elements; Static strength test for confined-space access attachment elements.
Fit the FBH to the torso test mass in a similar manner to that when fiting to a person, make all adiustments to ensure a snug fit of the FBH to the torso test mass. Mark the webbing in each adjustment buckle and buckle frame so that the marks align. Apply a tensile force of 15 kN between the fall-arrest attachment element and the lower eyebolt of the torso dummy, ensuring that the time to reach this force is (4 + 1) min. Maintain this force for a period of 3 min.
3, Dynamic performance tests; (1) “Feet first test”; (2) “Head first test”.
Raise the torso test mass in an inverted posture, and hold it in position by the quick-release
device. Attach one end of a new test lanyard to the fall-arrest attachment point under test using a connector complying with IS0 10333-5, and similarly the other end to the test-rig anchorage.
Raise the torso test mass so that:
a) the lifting eyebolt is at a maximum horizontal distance of 300 mm from the vertical axis of the test-rig anchorage before release:
b) when the quick-release device is operated the torso test mass is allowed to fall freely over a distance of 1 m.
Feature: we supply optional to add the data collection system, acceleration sensors, dynamic data collectors, dynamic force sensors. Can also add optional settlement and extreme deformation, to get the suddenly falling shock load, and the extension after shock to stop.
4, Static suspension test for fall-arrest attachment elements.
The test is to be carried out with a minimum of three people who are within the stature height range of1,6 m to 1,9 m. Medical supervision shall be made available as a safety precaution during the tests in accordance with the Helsinki Declaration.
Feature: we supply optional pressure pad, can put at the neck, heart, Hip position of the human, to achieve real time measuring data the load, pressure etc., protect the test people and get the accuracy test data.

Standard
ISO 10333-1 Personal fall-arrest systems — Part 1: Full-body harnesses
ISO 10333-1 specifies the requirements, test methods, instructions for general use, marking, packaging and maintenance for full-body harnesses (FBH) . The core goal is verify that a certified full-body harness can limit peak fall arresting force ≤6 kN when integrated into a complete Personal Fall-Arrest System (PFAS), protect users from fatal injury during falls, and maintain safe suspended posture post-arrest.
EN 361 Personal protective equipment against falls from a height — Full body harnesses
EN 361 specifies the requirements, test methods, marking, manufacturer information, and packaging for full-body harnesses intended as components of personal fall-arrest systems (PFAS). It covers FBH with back, front or dual fall-arrest attachment points; compatible integrated add-ons include work-positioning waist points (EN 358) or sit harness components (EN 813). Default rated user mass: 100 kg (person + tools); up to 140 kg permitted only with matching heavy-duty energy absorbers.
