Equipment for the mechanical connection seal part of the pipeline pipe fittings is very necessary, the test form is mainly by the medium pressure water pressure (several times the nominal pressure), low pressure water pressure (50KPa-5KPa or less), air pressure, low air pressure, negative pressure (-30KPa) in the form of test pipeline or pipeline connection part in the form of system sealing performance under the action of horizontal, deflection inclination, bending and other external forces. Widely used, the pipeline system for the purpose of: polyethylene PE, polypropylene PP-R, aluminum-plastic pipe, hard PVC water supply and drainage, all kinds of mining pipes, FRP pipes, rubber composite hoses, communication pipes and various buried structure wall pipes.

2.1. Industrial color LCD touch screen, 0 to -0.08MPa arbitrary test pressure setting, programmable staged pressure control; it is convenient to detect and view data, and can provide rich test time pressure curve and other information.

2.2. Test data can be stored on U disk to realize massive data storage. The data storage adopts a common format, which can be queried using general office software without professional software.

2.3. Hydraulic pipe radial deformation device, digital clear gauge size deformation monitoring, and can automatically align, the operator when applying pressure to thick-walled pipe, easy and labor-saving.

2.4. Different specifications of pipe fittings are equipped with corresponding supports, making their operation more simple and clear.

2.5. The declination direction is any declination angle in the four directions of up, down, left and right.

2.6. In order to facilitate the installation of specimens with relatively large pipe diameters, the specimen tightening device adopts the structure that can be opened by the upper cover.

The plastic pipe socket pipe segment is inserted into the plastic pipe bearing pipe section, so that the axis declination angle of the two pipe segments meets the specified angle, and the socket pipe section produces a certain deformation, and within the specified temperature range, two specified negative internal pressures are applied to the specimen in turn, and the sealing of the specimen is observed within the specified test time.

Work frame: includes at least two fastening devices, one of which is adjustable, while applying negative pressure (relative vacuum) to the specimen, a certain deflection angle can be generated at the specimen joint.

Apply deformation force fixture: A deformation force can be applied to the socket pipe section at a specified distance from the end face of the bearing pipe section.

Vacuum pump: can apply and maintain two specified negative pressures.

Isolation valve: installed between the vacuum pump and the specimen.

Sample: Select the appropriate size, the average outer diameter of the pipe DEM should be the minimum value within the tolerance range, and the bearing size (the average inner diameter DEM and the diameter of the sealing groove where the sealing ring is placed) should be the maximum value specified by the manufacturer.


The free length L of the socket pipe section refers to the distance between the bearing end face and the sealing joint end face of the socket pipe section, which is equal to 5 times the nominal outer diameter dn, and the free length L of the socket pipe section is 500mm and the maximum is 1500mm.

Due   to the sealing ring connection with the head installation tightening   auxiliary mechanism. The sealing connection of the larger diameter specimen   and the installation of the specimen head are laborious. It is recommended to   install an auxiliary top tightening mechanism on the "Configuration   B" test frame to facilitate the installation of the specimen.



About the Piping System Joints Leak Tightness Test

Test requirements:

1. Fix the bearing pipe section to the working frame, no deformation shall occur, and the axis of the bearing pipe section shall be kept horizontal, and the axis of the socket pipe section shall be adjusted to form a straight line with the axis of the bearing pipe section;

2. For the pipe of the pipe series S≥16 (that is, thin-walled pipe), on the socket pipe section 0.5dn away from the end face of the bearing, a pair of 100mm wide fixtures are used to make the socket pipe section produce a deformation of 5% dn in the vertical direction, and the deformation is measured on the end face of the fixture adjacent to the bearing port;

3. For pipes of pipe series S<16 (that is, thick-walled pipes), there is no need to apply deformation force;

4. Adjust the test device to deflect the socket pipe section, measure the free declination angle a, and the joint part is not allowed to apply external force;

If a ≥2º, fix the socket pipe section so that the pipe remains there, perform the following test

If a < 2º, apply force on the head of the socket pipe section to increase the A angle, and start the test at a declination angle of 2º.


Test conditions: 

1. Maintain the declination angle A on the vertical plane, and constantly check and record any damage or leakage.

2. The ambient temperature is kept between 15 °C and 25 °C, and the temperature fluctuation is ± 2 °C.


Test steps:

1. According to the requirements of relevant standards, select the sample and install it on the specimen holder.

2. Connect the sample after state adjustment with the pressurized equipment, and then according to the material, specification size and pressurized equipment of the specimen, when the negative pressure of the test - (0.1±0.002) MPa is reached, the negative pressure pump is turned off and the timing is started. If the negative pressure change exceeds 0.005MPa, stop the test. If the negative pressure change does not exceed 0.005 MPa, the negative pressure is continued on the specimen until the pressure reaches -(0.08±0.002)MPa. Disconnect the specimen from the negative pressure pump, monitor the pressure for 15min, and record the change in negative pressure.

3. When the specified time is reached or the sample is damaged or leaked, stop the test and record the time, except for Article 4. If a specimen fails, the type of failure should be documented, whether it is brittle or ductile.

Note: In the failure area, there is no plastic deformation failure is "brittle failure", and in the failure area, obvious plastic deformation is "ductile failure".

4. If the specimen is damaged at a distance of less than 0.1L0 from the sealing joint, the test result is invalid and another specimen should be taken for re-test (L0 is the free length of the specimen).


Technical key: the negative pressure pump imported from Italy and the pressure transmitter from Germany are used as the guarantee of pressure stability, and the imported PLC control unit ensures the stability of the machine. The negative pressure pump adopts water cooling method, which can ensure long-term stable work.
