1. Preparing the sample: Use a wiping material dipped in a cleaning agent to wipe the test panel and the loading plate, then carefully dry them with clean gauze until the working surface of the plate looks clean to the eye. After cleaning, do not touch the working surface of the plate with your hands or any other objects.

2. Attaching the sample: Under conditions of 23°C ± 2°C and relative humidity of 65% ± 5%, attach the sample parallel to the length of the plate in the middle, right next to the test panel and the loading plate.

3. Rolling the sample: Roll over the sample with a rollers at about 300mm/min, applying the force generated by the roller's weight. The number of rolling times can be specified depending on the product; if not specified, roll it back and forth three times.

4. Setting the sample: After the sample is attached to the plate, leave it under the same conditions for 20 minutes.

5. Fixing the test plate: Fix the plate vertically on the test frame and gently connect the loading plate and weights with a pin.

6. Recording time: Record the starting time of the test. After the designated time, remove the weight and record the time when the sample detaches from the test plate. If the time is 1 hour or more, record it in minutes; if less than 1 hour, record it in seconds.


Sample Preparation: The sample width is usually 12 mm or 24 mm, and the length is determined based on the test plate design. When sticking, use a standard roller (weighing about 2000 g ± 50 g) to ensure even adhesion.

Test Plate: Standard test plates are usually made of stainless steel, sized 50 mm × 50 mm or larger, and the surface should be flat and clean.

Loading Weights: Choose the weight according to the test requirements, commonly 500 g, 1000 g, or more, making sure the weight accuracy is within ±10 g.

Environmental Conditions: Tests need to be carried out in a constant temperature and humidity environment, usually 23°C ± 2°C with a relative humidity of 50% ± 5%.

Recording Methods: You can record the displacement of the sample over a set period (like 24 hours), or the time it takes for the sample to completely detach.
