UT1069A Insulator tension bending testing machine is designed to test the insulator tensile and bending test, The insulator tension bending load testing machine is mainly used for testing the bending strength, bending load strength, and flexural strength of various types of insulators. The computer system controls the servo motor's rotation through a digital controller and a speed control system. After reducing speed through a gear reduction system, it drives the moving beam to rise and fall via a precision ball screw pair, completing various mechanical performance tests such as tension, compression, bending, and shearing of the samples.
Mechanical strength test: In this test, the insulator under test is applied by 250% of the maximum working load for one minute. This test is conducted to determine the ultimate mechanical strength of the insulator.
Electro-mechanical test: This test is conducted only for suspension type insulators. In this test, a tensile stress of 250% of maximum working tensile stress is applied to the insulator. After this, the insulator is tested for 75% of dry spark-over voltage.
