ECT-100 Erichsen cupping tester  is mainly used to check the ductility of metal sheet and strip. It conform with ISO 20482:2003 Metallic materials - sheet and strip - Erichsen cupping test standard.  GB 5125-2008 (Method for deep drawing cup testing of non-ferrous metal). Can inspect the ductility deformation performance of test sample and inspect anisotropism of metal sheet.

Erichsen cupping test mean use certain size steel ball or ball shape punch, press a sample that be loaded a 10KN pressure, till the sample appear a penetrate through crack. Check the deep (mm) at this situation, this deep value is called Erichsen cupping test result value.

Computer Controlled Erichsen Cupping & Deep drawing Tester is a precision equipment for process performance testing of sheet metal and strip, meet the requirement of standard ISO 20482 " Metallic materials — Sheet and strip — Erichsen cupping test", also the use of ASTM E643-2008 standards, testing the metal sheet and strip in the test process of plastic deformation performance. The machine adds mold can also complete GB/T15825.3-2008; GB/T15825.4-2008; GB/T15825.6-2008; GB/T15825.7-2008 "Metal sheet forming performance and sample method" in the metal sheet shape, deep, widening, cone cup, cone and other tests. 5, Test result is computer display, with peak value memory function, max. punching load, Erichsen cupping value etc.,  can save the test result, curve drawing, test report etc.,  one test finish can automatically back to initial condition.

Erichsen cupping tester

The machine is mainly used to test the plastic deformation performance of sheet metal and strip, the use of electro-liquid servo clamping, electro-liquid servo load top breaking sample, with plate cracks automatic parking function; Stamping video is displayed in real time on the computer screen or special display screen, when cracks appear, you can manually or automatically judge the shutdown, so that the experimental results are closer to the real condition of the material (regular cup convex machine stamping crack is larger, will be obvious light transmission, our equipment after testing the product crack effect is, not light, drip kerosene will be extended, this result is closer to the material in the stretch mold actual stretching effect). The machine is a newly developed model, mainly used to test the plastic deformation performance of sheet metal and strip, the use of microcomputer control full test process, real-time dynamic display clamping load value, stamping load value, cup burst value, test speed and test curve, is the metal sheet and strip production enterprises, quality inspection units, steel research institutes and other units commonly used equipment.


Cup molding test, according to the material can be set suitable edge force, the system according to the set value automatically adjust the clamping force size, the software to add displacement control, cup molding when the initial force is large, in order to prevent the sample top up, the upper pressure mold position changes, will automatically adjust the pressure edge force, pressure head punched in after adjusting the pressure edge force to the set value. After the test is completed, the height of the ear is measured manually, and the input software dialog box of the test results automatically calculates the ear rate.
