Key Features
Continuous salt spray exposure is widely used to test the corrosion resistance of components and coatings. Applications include industrial, maintenance, architectural and marine coatings; plating and paint layers; Aerospace and military coatings, surfaces and components, electrical and electronic systems and components.
Most of these tests are widely used in relevant corrosion tests according to special specifications, generally operating at higher temperatures, excluding drying cycles. It is required that the ejected air should be heated before entering the nozzle.
This chamber is just like a typical conventional salt spray operation during the salt spray function.
The jet solenoid valve opens and the compressed air is humidified through a saturator (humidity helps keep the pH concentration stable) to the nozzle.
The brine corrosive solvent from the brine tank is sucked up to the nozzle, where it is mixed with compressed air.
The nozzle sprays the brine solvent and air into a corrosive mist.
The chamber heater maintains the programmed chamber temperature.
During the drying function, the dehumidification system is turned on, the moisture in the box is discharged from the box, and the fan works at the same time to make the indoor air to the air heater and then into the box, so that the low humidity conditions in the box are generated. The temperature of the cabinet is controlled by the cabinet heater and air heater. The air heater is turned off for 5 seconds before the end of the drying process so that the heater channel and near the components do not overheat due to the blower shutdown.
During the humidity function, the hot water from the humidification tank boiler is evaporated into the box to maintain the set humidity of the box.
During the condensation process, the water in the sink is heated by a sink heating tube at the bottom of the tank, keeping the tank at about 100% relative humidity.
During the stationary function, the temperature of the cabinet is automatically maintained by the cabinet heater. No spraying, drying, air purging, or humidity is produced.
