Information on the most widely used ASTM standards within the materials testing industry
Model: UT1072C
UnitedTest UT1072C Rock Biaxial Bi-Directional Creep Testing Machine used for long-term creep tests of rock and concrete specimens under vertical axial tension or compression and horizontal axial compression loads is the concrete biaxial bidirectional creep testing machine.
Its maximum loading capacity for the vertical axis is 500kN (compression) / 200kN (tension), and for the horizontal axis, it is 300kN (compression). It is suitable for uniaxial or biaxial creep, stress relaxation, and shear tests. This equipment achieves independent or coordinated loading of the vertical and horizontal axes through an electromechanical servo system, with a load control accuracy of up to 0.5%. It uses high-precision sensors and differential transformers to measure deformation, with an accuracy of ±0.5% and long-term stability characteristics. The specially designed floating mechanism for the horizontal axis and rolling connection technology effectively eliminates biaxial loading interference, combined with an arch-shaped self-centering tensile clamp to ensure sample alignment. The built-in computer control system can collect data in real time, draw curves, and generate reports, supporting dual-mode control for load/deformation.
The loading rate range is 2-200kN/min or 0.001-10mm/min, meeting a variety of test standards requirements.

Features
1, Vertical and horizontal axial compressive loads can be applied to the specimen simultaneously, or vertical axial tension and horizontal axial compressive loads can be applied, while simultaneously measuring the deformation within the vertical and horizontal gauge lengths on both sides of the specimen.
2, Load and deformation control can be performed, applying loads to the specimen at a certain loading rate and maintaining a constant load or deformation when reaching the specified test force or deformation value, measuring the changes in force or deformation on the specimen over time.
3, Uniaxial or biaxial creep tests and stress relaxation tests can be conducted on specimens such as concrete and rocks. With the appropriate fixtures, shear tests can also be performed.
