Large Elongation Extensometer for tensile test
High Elongation Extensometer/long travel extension extensometer/The large deformation extension meter is mainly used together with the tensile test machine for the rubber tension testing. It can measure the elongation of the product with high precision and accurately capture the displacement data. With a deformation measurement range typically from 10mm to 800mm. This device converts the strain of the specimen into electrical signals through a photoelectric encoder or displacement sensor, working in conjunction with a testing machine to collect deformation data during the tensile or compressive process.
General introduction
High Elongation Extensometer/long travel extension extensometer/The large deformation extension meter is mainly used together with the tensile test machine for the rubber tension testing. 1), high precision, resolution up to 0.005 mm;
2), wide measuring range, the maximum number of processes can reach 1.2m. (standard 0.8m).
3), completely eliminate the axial error problem caused by winding mechanism;
4), the structure is small and light weight.
The extensometer consists of an incremental rotary encoder and a set of mechanical housing devices. This products reduces the measurement error existing in the traditional design structure, the product structure design is compact, with good performance. the shell uses the alloy aluminum light material, the outer surface is oxidation treatment and hard wear-resistant, can resist the pressure, shockproof, high temperature, high pressure, and so on all kinds of harsh use occasions;
Key Features
During the tensile test, after the sample is clamped, the displacement change of the gauge length is measured through the encoder:
1. The testing machine applies a load to deform the sample.
2. The traction wire drives the shaft of the photoelectric encoder to rotate and generate pulse signals.
3. The computer processes the signals and outputs the displacement measurement; the compression test is conducted through reverse measurement of deformation under pressure load, achieving bidirectional testing capability.
The large deformation extensometer consists of three parts:
1. Measurement Mechanism: Includes a photoelectric encoder, a spring-type contraction mechanism, and a steel wire rope, used to convert mechanical displacement into an electrical signal.
2. Clamping System: Utilizes upper and lower jaws, adjustable gauge clamps, and linear bearings, suitable for samples with a thickness of <10mm and a width of <30mm.
3. Support Frame: Composed of a metal frame measuring 140mm×144mm×1357mm, containing a horizontal indicator and base.
