ASTM F382 Bending / Flexural Test Method for Metallic Bone Plates, Single Cycle and bending fatigue;

ASTM F382 is a testing standard that defines the geometric and performance characteristics of metal bone plates. This standard covers static and fatigue testing methods to determine the mechanical properties of bone plates and includes two testing methods:

1, Single circle bending test method for metal bone plate: This method measures the bending stiffness, bending structural stiffness, and bending strength, and determines the intrinsic structural characteristics of the metal bone plate.

2, Testing method for bending fatigue characteristics of metal bone plates: This method can be used to determine the fatigue life of bone plates at specific or a series of maximum bending levels, or estimate the fatigue strength at a specified number of cycles.
